Remembrance Sunday, November 11, 2018

Last Sunday, November 11th, St Paul’s Cathedral held a commemorative service for the 100 years since the end of World War I, which took place on November 11th, 1918, at 11 am.

We had the pleasure of the attendance of the ambassadors of Great Britain and Germany, the respective consuls, the Bishop of the Anglican Church of Chile, Rev. Tito Zavala, the dean of St Paul’s, Simon Brignall, English schools of Viña del Mar with their choirs, friends, and the public in general.

A minute of silence was observed in memory of the fallen and a wreath of poppies was placed before the memorial plaques with the names of those who gave their lives for the sake of freedom.
