Jesus Calms the Storm (Matthew 8:23-27)

This stained glass window is situated in the pre-altar area

The Bible tells us that Jesus and his disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee when a tremendous storm blew up. The disciples were terrified, thinking that they were going to drown.  As Jesus was asleep the disciples woke him up, whereupon he rebuked the winds and the waves and it became completely calm.
